The Priciest Petrol Located in the UK
One doesn’t have to go far to find the priciest petrol in the United Kingdom. However, there are some areas that seem to be higher than other locations. For example Chelsea may not require you to be a millionaire, but it will certainly help given the posh London post code. It has some of the most expensive property and land in the world, as well as some of the highest petrol prices of the entire UK.
For Super Unleaded you will be charged 1.75 pounds. This is at a local Texaco station found at a forecourt off of Sloane Avenue. Just think; if the petrol price is 1.75 then the diesel cost is going to be even higher. Diesel is always more at the pump. So, any fleet companies that need fuel who happen to be driving in Chelsea are going to pay dearly for it.
The cost that Chelsea is seeing right now for fuel is 34 pence higher than the national average. You may not notice the cost at first if you are part of the Jaguar club and you most certainly won’t see a sign telling you all about the price. Rather, the sign is non- descript and often nearer the actual pump than with a large neon sign.
The cost of petrol in the UK and around the world has risen significantly. We can remember the huge hauler that was driven into the city of London with a large trailer on the back protesting the cost of fuel. We can remember the news about the smaller shops closing in rural areas as they fight to keep their prices down, but also stay open due to the cost of oil. These same companies are fighting with the larger forecourt locations that can reduce prices a little because of the higher amount of business they do.
